Upcoming meetings
The next meeting of Calderdale branch of the NUJ will be held at the White Lion, Hebden Bridge, on Monday, September 21 at 7.30pm.
There will be a chance to discuss the preliminary agenda for ADM 2009, and also the branch's forthcoming public meeting on blogging and new media (provisionally booked for Wednesday October 28).
All members welcome.

Yesterday's meeting was very helpful, and it was good to see Adam Christie (newly appointed to the NEC for the North East) at the meeting, and geared up for the ADM.
And good to hear that the branches open meeting on blogging going ahead. Was it the 28th October at The White Lion in Hebden that was the date mentioned?
Yes, the public meeting on 'Journalism in the age of blogging' is on Wednesday 28 October, from 7.30pm in the White Lion, Hebden Bridge. Full details will be posted here shortly.
