Branch AGM

The annual general meeting of the Calderdale NUJ branch will be held at the White Lion, Hebden Bridge, on Tuesday March 4 at 6.30pm. Please note the earlier time.

There will be an opportunity to re-elect officers so if anyone is interested in any of the posts please let us know. The agenda will be:
- Secretary's report on year
- Treasurer's report and financial accounts
- Election of officers: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Membership secretary, Treasurer
- Other posts (freelance coordinator, equality officer....)
- Delegates to external organisations, if any.

AGM business will be followed by a discussion of ADM resolutions with branch delegate Sue Press.

Hope to see you there. It is not expected that the meeting will last longer than an hour.

February meeting

The first branch meeting of 2008 will be held on Tuesday February 5th at 5pm in the Three Pigeons pub, South Parade, Halifax.
Please note the earlier time. We appreciate this may not suit everyone but we hope it will prove more convenient to members working at the Evening Courier and they will be especially welcome to join us.
Our meetings are informal and friendly (and not too long) and it would be good to see new faces there.
