The NUJ's new full-time Northern organiser Chris Morley is coming to meet us. This is a chance to get to know Chris, who is based in the Manchester office, and who was last year's NUJ president.

Finding out the Facts - How to use the Freedom of Information Act
Thursday November 1st: 7.30pm, upstairs meeting room, White Lion, Hebden Bridge.
We are delighted to have welcome author and journalist Heather Brooke to Calderdale. Heather has written the seminal book on the Freedom of Information Act, Your Right to Know. She also leads NUJ training courses on the Act, and has been pioneering in her use of FOI in her own journalism. Definitely a date not to miss - all welcome.
